Dog Training And Behavior Case Studies

Jumping Basset Hound
Problem
: Jumping Basset Hound owners were told that Basset Hounds could not be trained.
Solution: Bay State Dog Training Level 1 Training Program and dog daycare twice a week.

Results: "Another trainer told us that for the most part, Basset Hounds are not trainable.  We did the free behavior assessment with Eric Letendre, liked the ideas and techniques that he shared with us, and signed up for his course.

"The manner in which the training was conducted is extremely important.  Our dog was never cowering and there was no yelling.  We were most impressed with the technique taught to us to stop our dog from jumping on people.

"We would recommend Eric Letendre and plan to do more training with him."

Canine ADHD
Problem:
Kimmy, a 1 1/2 year old female Doberman Pincher: not responding to her commands, pulling on leash, and not coming when called were her biggest problems.
Solution: Kimmy was placed into Bay State Dog Training's Level 1 Training Program.  In addition to the training, Kimmy's owner was shown how to establish leadership, and Kimmy was placed on an exercise program.

Results:
"I thought my dog Kimmy was a candidate for Canine ADHD before I went to Eric Letendre.  Now she is well-behaved, obedient, and comes on command.  She is also a certified Canine Good Citizen.

"It is all due to the training she received with Eric Letendre."

Out Of Control Puppy
Problem:
Young Lab puppy was extremely difficult to handle.  Owners were having a hard time training their new pup.
Solution: Bay State Dog Training's Puppy Training Course and leadership exercises.

Results: "When we got our puppy, she was out of control.  Taking Eric Letendre's Puppy Course has helped us out tremendously and gave us a better understanding of how our pup thinks.  I was amazed that I could learn how to train my dog."

You Have Three Choices

  1. Keep doing what you've always done. Unfortunately, behavior problems that you may be experiencing with your dog won't go away, and they may get worse.

  2. Try to solve it yourself. This can lead to confusion, as you read various books and talk to different people. It seems like all the experts have different answers.

  3. Get some professional help. Taking a course with Bay State Dog Training will help you finally solve your dog training and behavior problems.

The Cost Of Not Enrolling Is Huge

You will continue to...

  • Get more and more frustrated with your dog's behavior.

  • Have to pay for things that your dog destroys, i.e. furniture, TV remotes, shoes, kids toys, etc...

  • Have to pay other people for anything that your dog does to them or their property. I've seen dogs knock people over, scratch cars by jumping on them, and damage other items.
